ASME Code Work
Process Construction, Inc. is certified to build, repair, and alter pressure vessels and repair and alter boilers per ASME Section VIII, and NBIC pressure vessel codes. We are also certified to fabricate and install pressure piping per ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes. All of our welding is done to ASME Section IX. We are a certified contractor in both Kentucky and Ohio for pressure vessel installations.
Our ASME capabilities are as follows:
"U" Stamp to Manufacture and Assemble Unfired Pressure Vessels
"R" Stamp to Perform Alterations and Repairs to Power Boilers and Pressure Vessels
"PP" Stamp to Fabricate and Assemble Pressure Piping
We can assist you utilizing shop fabrication, or by doing work on your job-site. We have a welding service truck available for responsive on-site work in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
We have weld procedures for the following materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chrome Moly P-11/P-22/P-91, Nickel 200/201, Monel 400 & R-405, Hastelloy (all alloys), Nicofer 6025HT, CyTemp CY-40, VDM 59, SM2060Mo, AllCorr, CRHC2000, CRM21, SM2050, SM2550, Inconel (all alloys), Carpenter 20, 20Mo6, HR120, SM2035, Haynes Alloy 20, AL6X, AL6XN, JS700, Incoloy (all alloys), VDM 1925, 25-6Mo
Our previous work includes:
- Fabrication of numerous small pressure vessels.
- Fabricated new 304 stainless steel dual coil assembly for large beverage manufacturer.
- Fabricated two new carbon steel steam heating coils for vessel manufacturer.
- Retubed carbon steel heat exchanger for large chemical manufacturer. Tubes were rolled and welded to tubesheet.
- Fabricated 24" carbon steel blind flange for manway with 6" nozzle for large chemical manufacturer.
- Removed flange from 10'6" diameter carbon steel reactor and welded shell and cone sections together. Some of the modifications were done in our shop, then the modified piece was taken to customer's site for final field welds.
